Michael Telling has enjoyed a long and active career within hotel management in Scandinavia and beyond. In Denmark, he has headed some of the nation’s leading establishments, including Hotel d’Angleterre, Hotel Skt. Petri and most recently Kokkedal Castle Copenhagen.

In addition, he has held more administrative, strategic positions within marketing, but also has experience as President of First Hotels, a Scandinavian hotel chain, and is the founder and former owner of International Quality Assurance in Switzerland, which offers quality assessment and the development of service concepts and guest experiences within the hotel and restaurant industry.
Attention to quality, service and detail have ensured that Michael Telling enjoys international recognition for his capacity to develop unique hospitality concepts, and based on these to launch or relaunch hotels with immediate success.

Finally, Michael Telling is actively involved in the international debate on quality guest experience and guest expectations in the hotel industry of tomorrow, contributing with numerous articles and lectures.

As President and CEO of Comwell for more than 36 years, Preben Nesager has extensive experience in concept development and design, which along with a dedication to employee development has brought Comwell to a leading position in the conference and spa/resort hotel market, most recently with the opening of the HAY-designed Comwell Aarhus with 240 rooms.
Comwell today consists of 17 hotels and one of Denmark’s largest conference centres, Comwell Conference Center Copenhagen. Whether in times of economic growth or contraction, readiness for change has proved a vital skill. New concepts have continuously been developed at Comwell to meet new demands and trends.
Preben Nesager has additionally lent his talent to major international corporations in establishing training centres, cultural centres and hotels. Throughout his career, Preben Nesager has furthermore allocated time and resources to international relations and organisations, such as the International Association of Conference Centres (IACC). He participated, on behalf of Comwell, in the European start-up of the hotel company Dolce, now part of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts.
Heading the establishment of these many hotels has given Preben Nesager extensive knowledge in contract negotiations of any relevant nature.
